HI—I’M PAMELA!

Wedding photographer, traveler, and expert slayer of front-of-camera nervousness. 📸

I LOVE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY.

Every wedding is a story to be told.

I like to say that I’m a collector of moments. That’s how I view my work as a photographer. When I discovered wedding and elopement photography, I finally found a niche in the world where the thing I love most is the thing that is most needed.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you.

I truly value and appreciate how precious these days are, leading up to and experiencing the big day. Your wedding reflects who you are, and the people you cherish most in the world will all be in one place celebrating your love—and there is nothing more beautiful than getting to witness it.

The day goes by so quickly!

And in my experience as a wedding photographer, it almost never goes exactly according to plan—which is more often than not a wonderful thing. With so many things happening in such a short period of time, the memories will fly out of your head more quickly than you’d imagine. It’s the photos and videos from the day that will live on as anchors for your memory, reminding you of all the things that happened, from the hilarious to the emotional. This is why wedding photography is so important and why people invest so much into it.

I’ll follow your lead.

I take true joy in learning about who you are as a couple and as individuals and using that to integrate photography into your day in a way that suits you. Once I’ve discovered who you are, my job is to encourage you to be yourselves, whether you’re an outgoing couple who wants editorial, Vogue-level portraits or a little more on the camera shy side. I’ll take note, follow your lead, and capture you as you are. Above all, I want to make you feel seen, understood, and appreciated on your special day.

Professionalism and kindness are paramount.

I’ve built my photography and videography team based not only on talent but also kindness and professionalism. I appreciate that your loved ones, friends, and possibly coworkers and acquaintances will be present, and I take seriously that my attitude and approach, as well as that of anyone I employ, is a reflection on you. In addition, the warmth a photographer brings to an event or photography session reflects in the expression reflected on their subjects’ faces, which makes this especially important to me as an artist.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

Our wedding photography studio

We are located in Los Angeles, California, but we often photograph weddings, elopements, and engagements all around the Southern California region and occasionally in Northern California, as well. Some of our favorite wedding venues are in cities like Laguna Beach, Thousand Oaks, Santa Clarita, Irvine, Palos Verdes, and Long Beach.

Wedding photographers at home in Southern California

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings and humans all around the world, as have many of the photographers and videographers I work with. But I can say with sincerity that Southern California offers some of the best places in the world for wedding photography. What’s wonderful about the Los Angeles/Orange County/San Diego region is the diversity of landscapes and environments. You can have a beach wedding, desert elopement in Joshua Tree, mountain wedding in Big Bear, vineyard wedding in Ventura County, forest wedding in the Santa Monica Forest, rooftop wedding in Downtown LA—there really is no limit, and there’s a reason why there are so many Los Angeles wedding venues to choose from!

As a wedding photographer, I greatly appreciate the variety of weddings and wedding venues in the Southern California area. No matter what you have in mind, you’re sure to be able to find it in SoCal.

Finding a wedding photographer in Los Angeles

On one hand, finding a Los Angeles wedding photographer is easy. There is a plethora of talented visual artists, especially in an area like Southern California, which is so full of creativity. But choosing a wedding photographer is hard. The fact that a photographer is based in Los Angeles or Orange County is not a guarantee that they will be the right fit for your wedding or for you as a couple, and the decision can become overwhelming.

In my opinion, having a wedding photographer whose work you love is so important—but it’s equally important to enjoy being around them. Remember, you’re going to spend one of the biggest days of your life, your actual wedding day, with this wedding photographer. So get to know them before you book! I highly recommend a Zoom call, even if you can’t meet face to face. Contact us to set up a meeting!

I love photographing destination weddings!

Do you have something completely unique in mind for your upcoming wedding? An elopement while hiking through the Grand Canyon? A mountaintop wedding in Yosemite National Park? A waterfall elopement in Iceland? I’m an adventurer at heart, and if you have an idea in mind, reach out—my travel rates are surprisingly affordable. I’m always delighted to help plan adventure elopements, if you’re looking for ideas!
